Abstract

Since the experimentally observed the binary Bose - Einstein condensate the body ( Bose - Einstein condensates BEC ) phenomenon , on multi-component the nonlinear study in the BEC has become one of the hotspots of widespread concern in the matter wave field of study . The experimental macroscopic physical quantities , regulation : the trapped BEC external potential well and Feshbach resonance techniques to control atomic interaction strength . For multi- component BEC , the interaction between atoms is not only the presence of intraspecific interactions , there is also interaction between species . Theoretically, the physical properties of binary BEC can be used mean-field approximation theory coupled Gross - Pitaevskii ( GP ) equation to describe . The departure from the GP equation , the use of multiple scales method to study the impact of the strength of the interaction between the non - harmonic external potential well in the binary BEC soliton dynamics behavior and time-varying kinds binary BEC soliton collision behavior . The full text is divided into four chapters , the main structured as follows: The first chapter introduces the basics of BEC , basic theory, a brief review of the binary BEC experiments and theory Research . At the same time , based on the mean field theory , Jane briefly deduced the description of the the BEC dynamics of the GP equation . Finally, a concise introduction to our approach to the study - the multiple scales method and thesis content . The second chapter , using the method of multiple scales , analytically studied the phenomenon of the soliton fusion of the four non- harmonic potential modulation binary BEC . The results show that , the combination of two different components of the body soliton fusion phenomenon occurs . With four anharmonic increase in the strength of the external potential well , the phenomenon of convergence becomes more rapid . Thus confirming the binary BEC soliton fusion behavior by external anharmonic potential well regulation . Chapter III , analytical study of the impact of the change over time between scattering length of the binary BEC soliton dynamics behavior . The results show that the position, time and frequency of collision between two soliton species closely related to the scattering length . In other words, in the binary BEC soliton behavior can be regulated through inter - species scattering length . At the same time , we found that the amplitude of the soliton can also use the inter - species scattering length regulation . The last chapter , this article a brief summary , and the prospect of further research work .
