Abstract

In recent years , many experts and scholars at home and abroad are generally concerned about the complex network of emerging interdisciplinary depth research focused on complex network topology , statistical properties and mathematical models . With the small - world network model and the scale-free network model proposed , the field of complex networks once again set off a new round of research climax . Small world network not only has the cluster characteristics similar to the regular network , also has a similar random network characteristic path length . Scale-free networks not only has \The people in succession to study the statistical characteristics of a variety of real complex networks such as the Internet , metabolic network , air network , scientists cooperation network and personal networks , the results show that these networks are typical characteristics of small-world networks and scale-free networks . By virtue of the structure of links between pages of an ultra-large-scale complex networks , the process of the development of the World Wide Web contains more random factors , however , the link structure does not comply with the traditional random network model , but showing a non- characteristics of the scale of the network , that the mass of information resources on the network is constituted by a small number of links form as the core information hubs . The World Wide Web also has a small-world effect , contains information resources similar theme composed of a number of small clusters , and thus constitute a scale-free network . The paper analyzes the typical characteristics of complex networks , focusing on the classic model of complex networks : the random graph model , small world network model , scale-free network model is described ; through the World Wide Web and its link structure analysis , and web hyperlink to write a C program extraction of empirical research on the World Wide Web . Degree distribution , average path length and clustering coefficient index calculated contrast , the theory with practice , the final conclusion: the World Wide Web in line with the power-law distribution , is a scale-free network , with the small- world effect at the same time to achieve the desired objectives .
