Abstract

Ionic liquids are composed entirely of ions at or near room temperature of the material is liquid, it is also known as low-temperature molten salt or ionic liquid. Because of its low vapor pressure, non-volatile, liquid range, can be designed, etc., in organic synthesis, chemical separation and other areas have received wide attention. In recent years, as the extraction agent in the oil desulfurization applications are conducted a number of studies. This paper first synthesized three conventional ionic liquids [Bmim] BF4, [Bmim] NTf 2 and [C 4 Py] NTf 2 , two kinds of SO 3 H-functionalized ionic liquids [EimC 4 SO 3 H] HSO 4 and [EimC 4 SO 3 H] NTf 2 , two kinds of proton and ionic liquids DMCEAP DMHEEAP, and the use of NMR methods were characterized by the purity of ionic liquids such as routine physical and chemical properties were studied. In one of the SO 3 H-functionalized ionic liquids and protic solvent ionic liquid as desulfurization and systematic study of ionic liquids desulfurization performance. For SO 3 H-functionalized ionic liquids by oxidation - extraction desulfurization methods to NaClO and H 2 O 2 as the oxidant, the system The study SO 3 H-functionalized ionic liquids dibenzothiophene (DBT) removal results. The original analog fuel sulfur content 1600 ppm, by SO 3 H-functionalized ionic liquids after the desulfurization of model oil content down to 20 ppm sulfur or less, single extraction efficiency of 98% or more. With water as the extraction agent, the desulfurization after SO 3 H-functionalized ionic liquids stripping recycling, recycling five times desulfurization efficiency is almost not reduced. DBT oxidation product is separated, by 1H NMR and MS found that generated the more polar dibenzothiophene sulfone (DBTO 2 ). Meanwhile, the analysis found is not the same as the oxidant, the reaction followed by the desulfurization process is different. Using proton ionic liquid, using direct extraction method, simulated the oil dibenzothiophene (DBT) removal performance were studied systematically. Studies showed that the ionic liquid single proton desulfurization, the sulfur content in the oil from the original 1600 ppm down to about 650 ppm, more than 60% extraction efficiency. The extracted five times, the analog oil sulfur content can be reduced to 20ppm or less, after the completion of the desulfurization ionic liquid by a simple distillation process can be realized, recycle desulfurization efficiency after little change in ionic liquids. Further proton ionic liquids desulfurization mechanism was discussed.
