Abstract


With the rapid development of information and technology, Internet, as a brand new media, is profoundly affecting all aspects of human life. Nowadays, the network has become an important channel for teachers and students to acquire knowledge and information in Middle school, which acts as the basis of the development of information and technology. However, the development and application of the network is a“double-edged sword”, bringing not only opportunities, but also challenges. How to deal with this new situation is an inevitable problem that every ideological educators and political workers of middle schools should concern.Based on a great deal of reading the relative research and summing up working experience in students’management, This paper, on the one hand, analyzes the new opportunities that the network brings to the ideological and political education in Middle school. For example, it changes students’study method and life style, enlarges the sources of education and enhances teaching benefits. On the other hand, this paper explores the new challenges that the network leads to. For instance, network has a negative impact on the physical and mental health of students, challenges the authority of educators and puts stress on education teaching. Those difficulties make the ideological and political education face adverse conditions. On this basis, the causal analysis of network’s role and influence in Middle School’s ideological and political education is presented in this paper by considering the network’s unique influence as a“double-edged sword”, the specific characters of middle school students as a particular group, defects of traditional ideological and political teaching method and so on. Subsequently, this paper makes suggestions and solutions on strengthening and improving the ideological and political education about network, such as enforcing students’mental healthy education and network moral teaching, changing educators’ traditional teaching model, laying equal stress on constructing and advertising of network, drawing parents’more attention to the network education, and also gaining more supports from society to the ideological and political education of the network.
