Education corruption, which had existed as early as 1970s and 1980s, didn’t draw enough attention as people who believed only in political and economical fields occurred corruption insisted there be no corruption in the Pure Land of education. The term of education corruption began to be used to refer to corruption and transgression in various forms in education with social and economic development when the problems gradually revealed themselves and appeared in public media in the forms of collecting fees arbitrarily, embezzling and taking bribes. Education being the future of a nation and education corruption jeopardizing the younger generations, it is imperative to research into education corruption and measures against it.The paper adopts a comprehensive approach into the analysis of the complicated issue, which results from tangled factors. The main body is divided into four sections. The first section deals with the origins of the issue. The second deals with analysis of its manifestation, characteristics and damage. The third covers exploring the cause in the causes in a subjective and objective way, which features the paper. The fourth copes with probing into countermeasures from the aspects of prevention, solution and lessons.
