Two varieties of tulips 'Judith' ('Judith Leyster') and 'laugh' ('Big Smile') for materials, using the the paraffin sectioning observed its flower bud morphological differentiation process, the bulb within the simultaneous determination of the flower bud differentiation process water content, soluble protein and carbohydrate content and POD activity changes. To determine the relationship between the local tulip flower bud differentiation period and in the process as well as the flower bud differentiation process protein, carbohydrates, POD enzyme and flower bud differentiation. In addition, the use of 6-BA and PP 333 two exogenous hormones, flowering induction of the tulips 'laugh' small bulbs (circumference 6 8 sup> cm). The main results of this study are as follows: (1) tulip flower bud differentiation from mid-June to early August, the formation of the end of the three-prism pistil. The process can be divided into five periods of undifferentiated period, the outer petals differentiation stage, petal differentiation of the inner wheel, stamen differentiation stage, pistil differentiation stage. (2) flower bud top of the flat undifferentiated gradually swelling dome-shaped, the latter including round petal differentiation period late flattened wider until the stamen differentiation stage of depression. External morphological changes on the flower bud differentiation late bud growth speed is significantly faster than the prior period. Compared to other regions, Yangling tulip flower bud differentiation of the earlier start time, with a longer time. (3) tulip flower bud differentiation process, the carbohydrate content of the two species closer to trend. With the decline of the bulbs and water content, total soluble sugar and soluble protein content showed a decreasing trend after the first increase. Changes in the starch content of volatile amylase activity has continued to improve and reached a stable level of late. Differentiation initial POD activity is very low, and differentiation to high activity began, most of them in the late stage of the decline. (4) scales while increasing soluble sugar content and amylase activity is a sign of tulip flower bud morphological differentiation starts. Compared to the outer layer of scales, the inner scales is the primary place to provide nutrients for the growth and development of flower bud primordia. (5) different 6-BA and PP 333 treatment combinations have varying degrees of impact on the size of the flower buds of tulip bulbs and flowering rate, promote overall. Treatment (200 mg / L 6-BA 200 mg / L PP 333 ) have a significant role in promoting flower bud size and flowering rate, the best. For large bulbs, hormone treatment promote flower bud formation rate but improved flowering rate had little effect.
