Abstract

Objective: chronic urticaria (CU) as common diseases, dermatology, the protracted process to the patient's daily life has brought a lot of the burden of a serious impact on the patient's physical and mental health. To better help patients relieve distress, but also a better understanding of the development of chronic urticaria occurred, we have social psychological investigation of patients with chronic urticaria. May take into account the ongoing process of chronic urticaria lesions and histamine degradation abnormal serum diamine oxidase (DAO) activity detection and urticaria activity score correlation analysis, serum total IgE levels to investigate patients with negative emotions, life events, coping style of the disease during the development of the significance of the role diamine oxidase activity and total serum IgE levels in the pathogenesis of chronic urticaria expectations contribute to the clinical treatment. Methods: From April 2010 - November 2010, 68 cases of skin allergy clinic, Tianjin Changzheng Hospital patients with chronic urticaria, healthy subjects were 54 cases. Chronic urticaria group anxiety self-assessment scale (SAS), Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) score significantly higher than those in the healthy control group, the difference was statistically significant (p lt; 0.01). SAS scores of female patients than male patients, the difference was statistically significant (p lt; 0.05). The prompt clinical take personalized treatment for patients with chronic urticaria in psychological counseling should be targeted. 4 patients with chronic urticaria serum diamine oxidase activity to reduce elevated total serum IgE levels. The delay prompted diamine oxidase activity change as well as histamine degradation may wind continued existence of the group, and total serum IgE levels may be related to disease severity.
