Effect of Xinyi Capsule in People with Stable Angina Pectoris (Qi-Deficiency and Blood-Stasis Syndrome): A Randomized, Double-Blind Lacebo-Controlled Four Weeks Trial

Abstract


Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic effect and safety of Xinyi capsule for stable angina pectoris(SAP)due to coronary heart disease(CHD)classified as Qi-deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome.Methods:The 60 patients of SPA were divided into high dose group,low dose group and placebo group by random,double-blind and balm-antitheses stageⅡclinical experiment.The high dose group had 20 patients who were given Xinyi capsule,the low dose group had 20 patients who were given Xinyi capsule and comfort drug,while the placebo group had 20 Patients.All the patients were with 4 weeks.The changes of clinical symptoms and laboratory indexes in all patients were observed before and after treatment.Results:In the high dose group,the total effective rates of Chinese medicine symptoms is respectively 94.74%,the results of the low dose group is 80.00%,while the placebo group with those is 52.63%.Between the high dose group and the low dose group,there were obvious statistical differences in symptoms effects(P<0.05).Between the high dose group and the placebo group,there were significantly differences in symptoms effects(P<0.01).In safe effects,no obvious and serious side effects were found.Conclusions:The high dose group can obviously ameliorates the symptoms of the patients of SAP, and relieves stethalgia and cardiopalmus of patients.The result shows that Xinyi capsule is safe and effective for stable angina pectoris with syndrome of blood stasis in heart syndrome.
