Objective: To describe a provincial children's hospital in 2010 hospitalized children safety incidents types and their current situation, analyze the reasons for security incidents, security incidents to reduce the incidence of hospitalized children to make recommendations. Methods: According to research purposes, through a provincial Children's Hospital Medical Department, Nursing Department, Quality Control Department, Development Department, supervision and examination department, medical records room to a large collection of information and in-depth internal medicine, major surgery, emergency systems, rehabilitation, various clinical infection departments, hospital inpatient child safety investigation the specific circumstances of the incident. Investigated a total of 2010 all patients discharged 48,698 people, including security incidents occurred hospitalized children with 318 cases. Information obtained through EpiData3.0 software database entry, level indicators on the qualitative and quantitative processing and unified coding later SPSS13.0 for statistical analysis.
