Abstract

BackgroundHealth Education is the education activities that induce people to develop and maintain a healthy life, make use of existing health facilities reasonably and wisely, accept voluntarily healthy behavior and the life style that are helpful to individual and the collective. Health education is the educational activitiy and social activity with plan, organization, system and evaluation. Its purpose is to provide people with the knowledge skills and services used to change behavior, to encourage people to create consciously and develop healthy behaviors and the way of the life, to eliminate or mitigate the risk factors affecting health, to prevent disease, to promote health, to improve the quality of life of society and the nation,and to create the environment conducive to healthy survival of human society and development.Hospital health education is an important component of national health education.,based on hospital, patients and their families being the object. Through the planned and purposeful educational activities to improve patient understanding of health knowledge and change their unhealthy behavior to make their behavior tend to benefit health. As a crossing discipline of medicine and the humanities, it has been ranked as the first element of primary health care in the strategic objective planning to achieve "Health for All in 2000" by the World Health Organization and is called " 90’s strategy,". It shows that the implementation of significant health education.ObjectiveThis study investigated nurses on their knowledge, attitudes, clinical practice and effects of evaluation about health promotion and health education. To understand the current situation of health promotion, health education in nursing teaching and clinical practice, find the problems and analyze the reasons to identify appropriate countermeasures, so as to provide policy basis to further enhance the effect of health education and improve the overall quality of nursing.SurveyTaking the requirements of the subject into account, there are three roles in the process of nursing education and practice.They are working nurses (nurses, nurse, charge nurse, etc.), intern nursing students, nursing students in school.207 nurses on the job,351 intern nursing students in Shandong Provincial Hospital and 354 nursing students of Shandong Medical College, Jinan Health School and Weifang Medical College are involved in the questionnaire survey.Survey MethodsThe survey use the way of the questionnaire survey. The questionnaire are released and recycled by the group members on-site. The subjects were asked to fill out the corresponding questionnaire in strict accordance with the paper demands.Results and ConclusionsThe study is divided into three parts, the results and conclusions are:1. Investigation about cognitive level and attitude of Health Education in paramedicsResults:Paramedics have a much higher cognigtive level to health education in basic theory,be well aware of the importance of health education.But there are still some inadequacies in practice.Conclusions and Advices:Paramedics should raise awareness,change conception;organizations should attach importance to health education,enhance training,take different styles to promote the development of health education,improve the quality of holistic nurcing further.2. Investigation on the Knowledge and Attitude about the Health Education of the Nursing Students during the Course of Practice in a Hospital of Shandong ProvinceResults:At present, the level of the nursing students’knowledge about health education is beter.The recognition about the importance of health education is well, but there are some deficiencies in the practice.Conclusions:We should set up the< Health Education> course to enhance the learning of theory knowledge and train the skill of health education. The quality of whole nursing work will be improved.3.Investigation on the Knowledge and Attitude about the Health Education of the Nursing Students in School.Results:The majority of nursing students in current medical schools have received health education, but the proportion of sreceiving kills training for health education still need to be improved. Health education skill training experience plays a greater influence on health education knowledge and attitudes level.Conclusions:We should strengthen health education skill training of the nursing students in school.
