Abstract


William Lyon Mackenzie King, is the longest-serving prime minister in the history of Commonwealth countries, and in 1999 he was historian named the greatest Canadian Prime Minister. Not only that, he or experts in labor issues early years, long-term commitment to the study of labor issues, and has published \outstanding; continue to promote the interests of workers during as Prime Minister has made a lot of contributions. This article has four parts: preface contains two elements: First, the reason and the significance of the topic, Mackenzie King, Canadian history is important, valuable for his labor ideology, but the domestic research in this area is also very lacking; addition of the labor problem has become pronounced, labor relations handling mechanism is not perfect, and we need to learn from the advanced experience of developed countries. The second is the research status at home and abroad, the overall situation is domestic research in this area is basically blank, more research abroad. The first chapter introduces the Mackenzie King thought content and its sources of labor. These ideas are reflected in the industrial and humane \Predecessors and contemporaries theoretical sources of his labor ideology, but also by their personal experiences. The second chapter discusses the Mackenzie King era background and life his labor practice.
