Abstract


In this paper, we try to reveal the phonetic features of Rongjin dialect completely from the diachronic evolvement and horizontal comparison base on the in-depth fieldwork. There are two important theoretical and practical significance of the study of Rongjin dialect. The first, it can provide the first-hand and new materials to the study of Ping-hua and local dialect in Guangxi, especially there are only a few research materials about Pingle dialect at present. And, because the scope of use of Rongjin dialect is narrowing, this paper also has the significance of saving dialect materials timely. The second, it can provide living materials to some speculation of phonetic evolution through stripping phonetic gradations and analyzing phonetic evolution of Rongjin dialect.This thesis consists of five chapters.The part of Preface. It gives a brief introduction about the Pingle county’s geographic location, historical evolution, nation and lanauage service condition, as well as the investigation spots and people who cooperates my study, and the research status. At the same time, it also explain brief the purpose, significance and research approachese of this paper.Chapter 1:The phonological system of Rongjin dialect. It mainly depicts the phonological system of Rongjin dialect completely, and then generalizes the phonetic features of Rongjin dialect through compareing with the ancient Chinese phonology.Chapter 2:The analysis of phonetic gradations of Rongjin dialect. It try to be stripped phonetic gradations and analyze phonetic evolution of Rongjin dialect mainly. based on the phonetic theory and evidence of Rongjin dialect interior or exterior from initial and vowel.Chapter 3:Compared the phonetic features of Rongjin dialect with Northern-Gui-Pinghua. It compared the Rongjin dialect with Northern-Gui-Pinghua from three levels, which are initial, vowel and tone, in order to decide what dialect it is.The part of Conclusion.
