Abstract


The moral self-discipline is the need of not only the moral construction in present, also the improvement of internet moral. The moral self-discipline as one kind of moral character of the individual isn’t innate, but acquired, and it can’t leave the effective moral education. However, the traditional education morality in school has the malpractice of heteronomy education existing the compulsion and model with outside. It doesn’t make the moral education ideal progress and the student form the true moral character of self-discipline with difficulty. In order to enhance the effectiveness of moral education and cultivate the student true moral character of self-discipline, this article establishes the moral self-discipline education in school for the research subject.The goal of moral self-discipline education is to enable the pedagogue to realize the moral self-discipline. But regarding what is the moral self-discipline, the domestic and foreign scholars have the different understanding with the different angle of view. It absorbs from valuable thought of them and thinks through the analysis in this article as following. The moral self-discipline is that the moral subject makes the moral and standard change into the moral principle (conscience) in the self-innermost being on the basis of approval to them and it complies with and performs them and forms a stable and lasting moral character. The moral self-discipline has characteristics of independency, self-control, selectivity and arrangement and so on. The formation of moral self-discipline character needs the moral self-discipline education. But what is the moral self-discipline education, it is not ready-made concept still to quote. Through the analysis to the formation factors of the moral self-discipline character and the resonsideration to the heteronomy education, this article makes the following descriptive concept. It is the moral education in the school emphasizing the student’s independence. It is the moral education in the school internalizing the social moral to form self-discipline character. It is the moral education in the school strengthening the student’s intrinsic moral driving. It is the moral education in the school promoting the student’s moral ability. It is the moral education in the school abandoning from the malpractice of heteronomy education. The research subject of moral self-discipline education is established though absorbing the thought of modern moral education, therefore it has the close relationship with other theories of modern moral education, such as the independence moral education, the subject moral education, the moral education putting people first as its core,the moral study and so on. Generally speaking, though they seep, promote and support mutually,“the emphasis point”is different. To analyze the moral self-discipline education and the relevant theory of modern moral education highly is helpful to elaborate what is the moral self-discipline education.If the moral self-discipline education makes the pedagogue form the moral character of self-discipline, it must follow the pedagogue’s formation rule of moral self-discipline character. Broadly speaking, the formation of character of individual moral self-discipline results from the contradictory transformation between the subject and object mutually in the foundation of practice, at the same time it is the result from the transformation of intrinsic ideological contradiction of the subject. In the process of formation of moral self-discipline character, the intrinsic ideological contradiction of the subject needs to realize two time transformation generally and pass through three stages. First, the external moral principle and standard internalize to the moral faith of pedagogue. Second, the moral faith of pedagogue is changed into the practice behavior voluntarily. Third, the pedagogue is strengthened to form a stable and lasting moral self-discipline character. The analysis of the rule of moral self-discipline character formation provides the theoretical basis for practice of the moral self-discipline education. In addition, any reformation begins from the resonsideration and analysis to the question. The flaw of moral self-discipline character in moral domain in present, the moral deviating from the norm in the network society ,as well as the existence of heteronomy malpractice in the process of moral education in the school, provide the reality support for the moral self-discipline education .Although the research subject of moral self-discipline education is established through absorbing the theory of modern moral education, it has a long source of thought. Looking from the thought history of Western moral education, their thought of moral education opposed the heteronomy education including the compulsion and oppression from the ancient Greece thinker and educationalist Socrates, Plato, Aristotle to the contemporary West’s psychologist, philosopher and educationalist Piaget, Kohlberg, Dewey and so on. They stressed the pedagogue’s freedom of will and displayed the pedagogue’s subjective initiative in order to form their thought of moral self-discipline provided with the character of the self-control and self-discipline. Take Socrates as an example, he didn’t tell the answer of the truth or question directly and caused the student to become human who has the moral excellence, but caused them to understand through the inspiration and induction. Kohl Bergh, The contemporary morals philosopher, educationalist in the USA, opposed to instill and proposed the famous“dilemma story law”and so on, and developed student’s moral cognitive capacity in order to able to realize the self-discipline. Looking from the though history of the Chinese moral education ,they opposed the compulsion and model with outside and advocated to display the pedagogue’s subjective initiative to realize the moral self-discipline from Confucius, Mencius, Lao Tzu, Chuangtse to Gong Zizhen, WeiYuan and so on. For example, Confucius thought the virtue and morality is decided by oneself and Mencius thought the morality attained by seeking and lost if giving up, but seeking is dependent on yourself. They advocated to display the pedagogue’s subjective initiative and stimulated their intrinsic moral need to realize the moral self-discipline. These provided the source of thought for the moral self-discipline education.The key of moral self-discipline education is how do to. It has constructed the basic frame for the moral self-discipline education in this article. It includes the goal of moral self-discipline education firstly. It is divided the primary and ideal one. The primary goal is to promote pedagogue’s transformation from the heteronomy to self-discipline. The ideal goal is to cause the pedagogue to form a stable and lasting character of moral self-discipline and cause them freedom but not to violate rules in the moral domain, and make voluntary observation and practice behavior custom. It includes the content of moral self-discipline education secondly. It mainly includes the social moral standard education, the cultivation of moral emotion education such as the sense of responsibility and shame feeling, the cultivation of the self-gauge capacity and self-control ability, the cultivation of ability of self-discrimination and selection, the cultivation of Self-gauge capacity and so on. It includes the concrete method of moral self-discipline education thirdly. This mainly includes the way of value discrimination, situation feeling, practice method, prudence alone and dialogue method and so on. The common saying said that the education has the law, but no definite method and its key is to get suitable one. The pedagogue may create the scientific and effective method of moral self-discipline education in practice according to the actual choice. These ways may use for reference in this article. It includes the request to pedagogue of moral self-discipline finally. The pedagogue must build the moral education view of the modern. First, it is necessary to set up the view of modern student, namely to respect the initiative of student fully, potentiality, activity, difference. Second, it is necessary to set up the view of modern teaching, namely to change from“teacher”to“lead”. It needs to establish the good relations between teachers and students. First, the pedagogue should establish the education idea of respect to respect the student’s main body status and personal dignity. Second, they should learn to wait, to tolerant, appreciate, listen attentively to, understand, care about and so on. At the same time, the pedagogue should attach importance to the non-verbal message communication with student. In addition, the pedagogue should also practice good self-discipline and make the moral self-discipline the model.
