Abstract


Public Library by the the national central or local government , funding and support , free service for the public library . Extension of public library services library on the basis of traditional services through the service space , an extension of the service object content and way to play social educational function of public libraries , gaining the upper hand radiation capacity of public library services , expand public libraries service coverage . Public library extension services to provide readers with a diversified and personalized services to meet the needs of readers . The paper first outlines the meaning of extension services and carry out the significance of the extension service . Then from the extension of the service space , an extension of the extension of the service object , services, content and services the way three aspects about our public libraries extending service development status . Many problems exist in the process of extension services in carrying out the investigation , analysis of the process of the development status of our public library extension service , found that public libraries . Restricting the extension of services carried out by the extension service space development and library resources distribution among regional library , recognized that the development of our public libraries extending service there is an imbalance , public library funding and grassroots library development level . At the same time , under the constraints of a variety of factors , the service effectiveness of the extension service is not satisfactory .
