Abstract

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), crystalline and porous solid materials constructed from self-assembed with inorganic metal-ion clusters and polytopic organic linkers, had attracted considerable attention for a variety of applications in recent years. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are being recognized as very promising multifunctional materials with their highly porous structures and unique properties. In this work, In this work, we chose Cu3(BTC)2, as precursor to prepare CuO/CeO2catalysts for preferential CO oxidation. In addition, we investigated the thermal decomposition process of a porous amino metal-organic framework over Zn4O(NH2-BDC)3(IRMOF-3) and ligand.1. Employing Cu3(BTC)2as precursor, a series of CuO/CeO2catalysts with well-dispersed copper species were synthesized and applied for preferential CO oxidation in H2-rich stream. These catalysts were characterized by means of PXRD, H2-TPR and EDS. The catalyst with5wt%Cu loading calcined at600℃exhibited an excellent catalytic activity that the100%CO conversion was achieved at a reaction temperature of100℃.2. A representative amino metal-organic framework, IRMOF-3was synthesized and the thermal decomposition process has been investigated by in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy (DRIFTS), TG techniques. PXRD, elemental analyses and so on. As revealed by these analyses, the ligand in IRMOF-3exhibits different thermal decomposition behavior in compared with free ligand NH2-BDC. In addition, the mesoporous carbon possessing higher BET surface area was obtained from thermal decomposition of IRMOF-3at high temperature.
