Abstract


With deepening of the education reforming, curriculum reforming has become the frontier. In 1999, China also started a new round of the curriculum reforming. But the effectiveness depends on the quality of teachers, which has become the consensus in the field of the education. Therefore, in recent years, the teacher professional development got the unprecedented attention in the field of the education, so did China. But the research began lately in China, it has been existing some questions in the level of theory and practice. This thesis begins from the content of the teacher professional development, analyzes the questions and seasons of teacher professional development in China high schools, and proposes the tactic finally.This thesis mainly includes four parts. The first part summaries the content of teacher professional development and analyzes the necessity. Teacher professional development is the objective requirements of Times developing, is the actual requirements of new curriculum reforming, and is the internal requirements of self-improvement. The second part elaborates the questions on teacher professional development in China high schools, including inadequate understanding on subject status, incomplete constitution on professional quality, weak foundation of professional theory, limited vision of professional research, indifferent consciousness of professional cooperation and so on. The third part analyzes the seasons of questions on teacher professional development from the subjective and objective angle. The fourth part proposes the way to teacher professional development, including improving the level of political knowledge, improving the level of education theory, increasing consciousness of the action research, increasing cooperation between the political teacher, establishing the scientific evaluation system and so on.
