Abstract


With the development of information technology and the arrival of knowledge economy, the information and knowledge replaced the capital and labor, which has become the most important resource of business. Towards to the machinery manufacturing industry, process knowledge is the most important part of knowledge, which represents for the important components of the technology system of enterprise’s informatization and plays a key role in the development of business process level. Therefore, the effective management and applications of technology knowledge have become the urgent needs for the development of machinery manufacturing enterprises.The object of process knowledge management is the knowledge which exists throughout the whole lifecycle of enterprise production. The process knowledge roots from the product design, process design, manufacturing, service and so on. In this paper, based on the analysis of process work content in the whole lifecycle of enterprise production, we do some classification research on process knowledge.Based on the related theory of knowledge and knowledge management, summarizing domestic and foreign relevant literature and research results, we find that the existing knowledge classification model has some inherent defects. So, we proposed a new three dimensional knowledge classification model, which is used to introduce multi-angle classification concept to classify the knowledge, and apply its applications to the analysis of process knowledge.In this paper, firstly we make a classification for process knowledge involved in the machinery manufacturing, and then use the scientific point to deconstruct mechanical knowledge management activities. Combining with specific technology activities (e.g., assembly technology design), we do research on the process and content of process knowledge management activities, and finally construct a process knowledge management activity model. Based on our model, we design a novel knowledge management system.The knowledge management system can be seen as an extension and expansion of CAPP system. Therefore, when designing this system, we should take into account the integration with other information systems. To illustrate the practicality of our system, we integrate it with CAPP system, and make a study on the key points of process knowledge management applications used in CAPP system, which is mainly focused on application process and integration system interface design.We make an in-depth analysis of machinery enterprise process knowledge in this paper, and do an exploratory study on process knowledge management. On the basis of combining with the actual process knowledge activities, we make a detailed exposition on every aspect of process knowledge management activities. Our method not only makes practical value on the development of process knowledge management system, but also supplies new ideas which are used in management activities for machinery manufacturing enterprises.
