Abstract


The rapid development of information technology as a symbol of the third industrial revolution set off a wave of economic globalization. In the era of economic globalization, national economies are closely linked to form a unified world's largest market. Economic globalization has brought to the national competition, but also brought a rare opportunity for development. Based on the characteristics of the new era of economic globalization systematically analyze and study from the market range, scope of production, technological change, industrial policy, financial crisis, anti-globalization six dimensions, summed up the characteristics of a total of 14 areas, and These characteristics of the impact of changes in firm size for analysis, the scale of the enterprise era of economic globalization will tend to expand conclusions. Through large-scale industrial enterprises in China as a sample, the empirical research, testing and support the conclusions of the theoretical analysis. The main conclusions are: 1, in the era of economic globalization, technological progress and industrial policy by changing the direct impact of the average size of Chinese enterprises will tend to expand participation in the global competition to raise the threshold. 2, from three different aspects, corporate average sales revenue and the average asset size scale is widening, and the corporate average staff size is shrinking. 3, the different characteristics of the era of economic globalization on the impact of firm size and depth dimensions are different. Scope of the market changes affect only the number of employees; technological progress on corporate income, assets, number of employees are affected; industrial policies on income greater impact on other factors not obvious. Through analysis, this paper, China's strategic business development advice is: through the implementation of strategies to achieve business expansion specialization, and enhance competitiveness. Large-scale enterprises should strive through mergers, acquisitions and foreign direct investment, etc. for overseas expansion, based on the professionalization of the diversification. Smaller enterprises should actively respond to the era of economic globalization, the impact of temperature and special production methods, to take strategic alliances, web collaboration, outsourcing and other ways to increase their competitiveness and ability to resist risks. On industrial policy advice: Due to technical strength for business expansion and enhancement of the important role that the state should develop high-tech industries, and improve the overall level of technology. Since import tariffs and expansion of enterprise scale negative correlation should therefore continue to expand and open up, by enabling enterprises to compete better access to development, rather than simply by raising import tariffs for industrial protection.
