With the rapid development of computer technology and communication technology, information technology as the core of the new military revolution is causing profound changes in the military field around the world. Along with this change, the military informationization is an important means to accelerate military modernization, and also an important part of the modernization of military logistical support. In order to promote the informatization construction of military logistical support and enhance the military logistics support capabilities, logistics, materials management need to be more effective. Military supplies to information management will help to improve the military’s logistical management.In this paper, according to the situation of current military logistics materials management technology, developed a new B/S based military logistical management system. This article first has a detailed investigation on current military logistics material management system, based on analysis of the the status of the military logistics materials management and customer demand. Then using the comparison mature Unified Modeling Language UML and E-R entity graph, designed the functional model and information model of the military logistics materials management information system. With using.NET platform, Microsoft’s next-generation software development platform and programming environment VS.NET ASP.NET technology, VB.NET programming language and SQLServer2000 network database, the design work of the military logistics materials management system based on B/S 3-tier architecture is almost done. It will facilitate efficient management of military logistical supplies.
