Abstract


Abstract: A detailed analysis of Development status of industrial economics and industrial clusters in Jiangyou was provided based on the description of the meaning of industrial clusters and the Diamond Model, and corresponding countermeasures for development of metallurgical machinery industrial clusters in Jiangyou was offered following the Competitive Analysis based on the Diamond Model.First of all, the research background, objectives, significance, methods, and basic framework of this paper were introduced. The industrial cluster was considered to common phenomenon in contemporary economic development, and its strong competitiveness in the market has been proved by the practices in domestic and international economics development. Theoretical method was used to perform the competitiveness analysis of metallurgical machinery industrial clusters in Jiangyou, it’s beneficial to find out the problems in clusters development, the rapid development of metallurgical machinery industrial clusters, and enhances the county’s economic competitiveness.The second, the concept, characteristics, types and theoretical foundation of industrial clusters was introduced, especially Porter’s‘Diamond Model’, which is used as the theoretical tools to analyze the metallurgical machinery industrial competitiveness of Jiangyou in this paper.The third, in this paper, Metallurgical machinery industry clusters and current economics situation of Jiangyou was alalysized, and the development stages and characteristics of metallurgical machinery industrial cluster were described specifically.The fourth, the detailed analysis of metallurgical machinery industrial clusters in Jiangyou was provided to find out the weak link of metallurgical machinery industrial clusters and the entry point for enhancing the competitiveness of metallurgical machinery industrial clusters. In accordance with the problems of metallurgical machinery industrial clusters, specific suggestions were provided based on the environment construction, policy system, technical innovation capability, and service supporting system, brand making and talent introduction, etc.
