Abstract


At the very beginning of2013, along with the reform of Ministry of Railways, China Railway Company emerges as the time requires, which complies with the trend of separation of enterprise from ministration, meanwhile making China railway transportation march towards the way of market-oriented operation. Facing the fierce competition of expressway and civil aviation, railway passenger transportation has to focus on the market and satisfies the demand so as to occupy the market. Motor train unit is the new way of transportation emerging as the time requires, which is rapidly developing worldwide because it is speedy and comfortable. Through the "learning+innovating" mode, our country has developed the series of CRH train. China has a vast territory, CRH train for the long distance and short distance varied in the functional facilities. During the investigating of the Chengguan and Chengyu CRH train, it is found that the current trains are not suitable for short-distance transportation. Except for the existing CRH1A trains,5long-distance CRH1E trains which used to run on the Beijing-shanghai line were added in during the2013Spring Festival travel. These trains consist of soft berth and two second-class carriages-No.1and No.16. In the process of investigating, it was found that this kind of relatively messy train arrangement couldn’t meet the demand of passengers, for instance, passengers don’t need the soft berth in a short-distance travel. Thus, it is significant to study about the functional facilities with the entry point of customers in the market—passengers.Based on the KANO mode, the article took the passenger satisfaction as the entry point, and executed filed study twice, focusing on the following issues:(1) the demand of passengers;(2) the distinction between long-distance and short-distance CRH train;(3) the measurement method of elevating the passengers’ degree of satisfaction;(4) the improvement suggestion and scheme of short-distance CRH train. The following methods were applied against the issues above:(1) recording the passengers demand by questionnaire inquiry and observing;(2) utilizing KJ method to comb the demand element, and making them into Kano questionnaire to proceed the second questionnaire inquiry.(3) building Kano model, and classifying the Kano index into five quality factors, then analyzing and summarizing the characteristics of each kind of the quality factors;(4) putting forward the improvement recommendations and design scheme of the short-distance CRH trains’ functional facilities according to the model and sensitivity analysis. Through the abundant materials of two questionnaire inquires and the model building as well as the deep analysis, base on the Chengguang and Chengyu line, the article put forward the functional facility layout recommendation and design scheme of the short-distance CRH trains. It is of guiding significance to the train improving and theoretical research of the short-distance CRH trains.
