Abstract


National physical fitness surveillance is a basic system, which carries out the Law of the PRC on Physical Culture and Sports .It is the important part of the program outlines for the whole population physical fitness. It is also very important for the national fitness project to become more scientific.Cooperating with the national physical fitness surveillance Centre, We finish the first and the second national physical fitness surveillance respectively in 2000 and 2005, to monitor the data surveillance work in Jilin Province. This test is preparing for the third project of the national physical fitness surveillance in 2010. At the same time, it’s for building up the database of national physical fitness surveillance in Jilin Province, updating the database of fitness monitoring and adding to the report of fitness monitoring. Testing and collection of the data focus on several types of urban areas in Jilin province.This test gets the first-hand information about the physical fitness index of grown-ups in our province by means of sampling survey to the physique of them. We will give analytical study based on the data we get; look into the present physical condition; study the changing pattern of body, and compare with the average level of the national physical fitness surveillance. The final goal is to provide the scientific basis for mass of the people to do physical exercises. Also, we are aiming at provide scientific physical fitness methods and exercising ways which are healthy and efficient to the sports fans.
