Abstract

The dye laser is the most widely used and is also known the most successful one of the tunable laser source, basic physics, chemistry, biology, and other fields has made a significant contribution. Compared to other laser medium, a dye except for the tunable range, but also to achieve high power, short pulse width of the output, and the controllability of the absorption and gain is also high. With the further development of tunable laser technology, and how to further improve the luminous efficiency of the dye makes sense. In this paper, the main luminescence dynamics study of a variety of dyes using the steady-state fluorescence spectra and time-resolved spectroscopy. The luminescence dynamics is the basic carrier transfer means affect the emission process and relaxation process. By steady-state fluorescence spectrum of luminescence dynamics process inferred, but not directly on the specific study of the transient process, which would be by means of time-resolved spectroscopy. Ultrashort pulse time-resolved spectroscopy technology continues to evolve, may be impossible to study the transient phenomena of ordinary spectroscopic methods for real-time tracking and ultrafast relaxation processes, such as the level lifetime measurements, chemical reaction kinetics of biological processes research and so on. Pump - probe technique as the most commonly used time-resolved spectroscopy, one has a wide range of applications in physics, in particular, molecular, atomic physics and condensed matter physics research. Currently, there are liquid dye ultrafast photophysical process research reports, these studies have shown that the dye molecules and dye molecules and solvent molecules ultrafast energy relaxation processes that directly affect their luminescent properties. But there is rarely reported in the total the doped dye and solid dye. The experiments of this paper is divided into two parts, on the one hand, the measurement of non-co-doped, co-doped solid, liquid dye steady-state fluorescence spectra, preliminary total of the doped dyes and solid dye fluorescence characteristics, mainly to discuss the solution extremely and re-absorption of the impact of the effect on the optical characteristics of the dye, which is behind us study a great reference value. On the other hand, the core content of the subject using femtosecond laser-based time-resolved pump - probe technique to measure dye transient transmission spectrum based on the transient spectrum analysis of the dye molecules are excited at different stages of energy relaxation and the fluorescence emission related to the energy level information such as the level lifetime. I hope through our study of the the dye luminescence dynamics process, in-depth understanding of the specific charge transfer in the excited dye molecules way for further research to improve the luminescent properties of the dye to provide a theoretical basis.
