Abstract

Mesoscopic the system quantum transport is one of the very active area of ??research in the condensed matter physics , quantum dot system as a mesoscopic system , the transport properties received extensive attention in the theoretical and experimental . In this paper, based on the transport properties of the non - equilibrium Green's function method and Floquet theory coupled quantum dot ring system of the external field drive theoretical study reveals the relationship between the dynamics localized effects coupled quantum dot ring system with quasi - energy collapse , as well as the ring on quantum points and quantum dots - the coupling between the electrode kinetic localized , and provide a theoretical basis for the design and implementation of new quantum dot nanodevices . First , the paper briefly describes the main characteristics of the quantum dots and its application , and a more detailed introduction to the non - equilibrium Green's function method and Floquet theory used . Then , the use of non-equilibrium Green's function method to study the effect of the ring dynamics of coupled quantum dots driven by ac magnetic field localized . Research found that when the ratio of the number of points of the alternating magnetic flux with the system the total amount of sub - root of the zero-order Bessel function , the system prospective spectroscopy collapse occurs , and the average current reaches a minimum value , initial localized electron generating Kinetic localized ; kinetic localized effect is enhanced with increasing system quantum points purposes , is weakened as the quantum dots and the coupling strength of the electrode increases . Finally, the use of quantum rate equation method to study the the ring transport properties of the alternating electric field and driven by the DC magnetic field coupled three quantum dots , studies show : AC electric field to control the effective coupling strength between the quantum dots , and then transport current of the control system .
