In this thesis, the author made some research on the security risk assessment system for the traction type elevator and escalator, passenger converyor, which was associating with the Scientific Research Program of Zhejiang Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision (No.20100235) and the compilation of the Zhejiang provincial standard "Security risk assessment system for the in-use elevator"("Notification about the issue of the’Modification plan for the first batch provincial standard in2010’", No [2010]123).In chapter1, the background and significance of the thesis were presented. At first, the significance, present research status at home and abroad, and the existing problems, developing trends of the security risk assessement system for the in-use elevator were introduced, respectively. Then, the main research content were pointed out.In chapter2, the assessement method for the security risk of the in-use elevator was proposed, including the identification, assessment and evaluation of the security risk. Then the assesement procedure was put forward.In chapter3, the assesement scope based on the risk source was confirmed based on the wide investigation and survey of related data, and the intensive discussion between professionals. In the end, the assessment scope was identified as Zhejiang provincial standard.In chapter4, the method and model for the security risk assesement for the complete elevator based on the subsystem security risk were proposed. At first, the expert scoring method, hierarchical analysis method and index synthesization method were adopted. Then, the comprehensive assesement method for the security risk of the in-use elevator base on the index linear synthesization and its mathematical model were put forward. At last, the security risk was classified into several types.In chapter5, some experiments were taken and researched for the application of proposed assesement system, which showed that proposed assesement method and scope met the practical necessity, and the assesement result agree with the practical situation.In chapter6, the achievements of the dissertation were briefly summarized and the further research work which needed to be done was expected.
