It is important for the experiment of cell physiology and cell pharmacology in the cell physiology and the medical research. These experiments must work in the living cell, therefore, the cell activity detection becomes the precondition of some research. There are two methods for the distinction commonly: One is the quota examination for the deterioration of the colored biochemistry response; the other is the estimation qualitative according to the microscopic image. The former will destroy cell’s physiological function and the survival condition, before selecting cell which is able to be used in the experiments. The latter is empirical. They are, to a great extent, limiting the efficiency of the experiments of the cell physiology and the cell pharmacology. Therefore, it is necessary to found one method which can be operated conveniently and has the non-chemistry involvement.First, it has been designed the experiment of inducting death of neurons which are form acute separation, and neuron’s death processes are noted by the inversion symmetric microscope and frames the photography technical. Then, according to sequence image reflecting the contour change of cells which are in the death process, it analysts for the representation change rule in the neuron’s death processes from the cell image’s edge, with the background contrast, the grey level relative dispersion three aspects inspected, and the corresponding parameters is defined to describe these representation characteristic by the quota. After the cell active detection parameter based on these physical targets applied in the primitive image data, the uniformity appears between the result based on the cell active detection parameter and the result of cell death process experiment. It is indicated that the examination method and the examination parameter are suitable for the cell active detection.It has provided one method of the cell activity detection convenient, and it is a method of the non-chemistry involvement. It may enhance working efficiency of the experiments in cell physiology and t he cell pharmacology largely.
