Abstract


During the development of the enterprise, the clear development strategy will play an extremely important role of guidance. Through the systematical research and analysis on the drafting process and implementing methods of stainless steel development strategy of Taiyuan iron & steel (group) co., ltd(hereinafter referred to as TISCO),which is the biggest stainless steel enterprise with global biggest capacity and most up-to-date technology and equipment, this thesis intends to summarize gains and losses in the drafting and implementing of stainless steel development strategy, which will play a guiding role for the strategy drafting and implementing of Chinese enterprises, especially stainless steel enterprises, and is of great importance to the healthy development of Chinese stainless steel industry.Using the background of formulating the stainless steel development strategy and the implementing measures as the object of study, this thesis tries to seek the underlying reasons for the fantastic success of TISCO stainless steel development strategy. At first, after in-depth analysis and research on the supply and demand situation of international and domestic stainless steel market, it makes conclusion that the Chinese stainless steel industry is of strong appeal in terms of competitor insight and competition advantage; secondly, it makes contrast between TISCO and major international and domestic stainless steel enterprises, and concludes that the comprehensive competitiveness of TISCO ranks first in the Chinese stainless steel industry, and that production of stainless steel represents the general trend, which provides great support for TISCO drafting the development strategy of constructing the most competitive stainless steel enterprise in the world.What is more, the thesis also introduces practical work from several aspects of TISCO for the strategic objective of constructing the most competitive stainless steel enterprise in the world, such as strengthening the scale ability construction, energy sources and resources ability construction, research and development ability construction, market advantage ability construction, system ability construction, sustainable development ability construction and enterprise culture advantage construction; by the introduction above, the thesis illustrates the main methods and implementing support of TISCO implementing stainless steel development strategy, which lays a solid foundation for the smooth implementing of TISCO stainless steel development strategy and verifies the correctness and perceptiveness of the development strategy.
