Abstract


In this research, We primarily study the preparation of the waterborne UV-curing coatings and polyether modified polysiloxane defoaming agent, the waterborne UV-curing coatings application performance and silicone defoamer in coatings applications.Polyether modified polysiloxane defoaming agent was prepared by using terminal hydrogen group polysiloxane and polyether as starting material . Effects of different reaction conditions and blendings on the conversion and the defoming property were discussed. The optimum conditions had been confirmed as 100-110℃, reaction time 5h , the mole ratio of hydrogenous polysiloxane to polyether 1:2. The blend that contains 20 % mass fraction of silicone oils , 10% mass fraction of emulsifiers is compared with other foreign and the domestic products.In this paper two series of waterborne UV-curing resins were prepared from different materials.Epoxy acrylic resin (EA) was synthesized from biphenol A epoxy resin and acrylic acid,waterborne UV-curing Epoxy acrylic resin (EB) was synthesized through the reaction of EA and malefic anhydride. A new kind of waterborne UV-curing polyurethane acrylate(PUA)ionomer prepared from toluene-2,4-diisocyanate (TDI),poly(propylene glycol)(PPG),2-hydroyethl menthacrylate (HEMA) and a compound (DMPA) which had acarboxy and two hydroxyl groups.Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectra demonstrated the formation of the above two kinds of resins. Both the optimum conditions of the synthetic reactions and the effects such as hydrophilic group content,neutralization degree and resin concentration on emulsion were studied on the above mentioned resins. The effects of the type and concentration and photoinitiator, neutralization degree, neutralization agent type, drying and structure of the prepolymers on curing rate were discussed in detail.
