Objective：To investigate the medical treatment and the profile of riskfactors modification in the patients with coronary artery disease in order toscale the gap between real world practice and evidence-based guidelines.Methods：Randomly select the patients who hospitalized and diagnosedby coronary angiography in coronary heart disease in First AffiliatedHospital of Chongqing Medical University during2010May to2011February. To investigate the medical treatment and the profile of risk factorsmodification of the patients with6months after discharge.Results：67.19%of the total128patients were male, and32.81%werefemale. At discharge, the prescription rate of aspirin, clopidogrel, betablocker, ACEI/ARB and statins was91.41%,97.66%,67.19%,65.63%and97.66%. At follow-up, the prescription rate of aspirin, clopidogrel, betablocker, ACEI/ARB and statins was87.50%,83.59%,57.03%,57.81%and85.16%. At follow-up, there were6.25%of the patients in smokeing. Atdischarge, there were45.31%of the patients complicated with hypertension,17.19%complicated with diabetes mellitus, and the above indexes were 24.22%and27.34%at follow-up. During follow-up,21.09%,30.47%and29.69%of the total patients had high levels of TC, TG and LDL-C.Conclusions： Most patients adhered to medical treatment duringfollow-up. Some risk factors modification is beyond optimal. Prompt andeffective measures should be taken to enhance the secondary prevention andpatient education to minimize the gap between clinical practice andevidence-based guidelines.
