Purposes: Investigate the safety and feasibility of laparoscopicappendectomy (LA) in the treatment of acute and chronic appendicitispatients; share the related operation skills and the matters needingattention of laparoscopic appendectomy (LA), in order to improve theoperation skill of laparoscopic appendectomy(LA).Methods:Collect the clinical data from colorectal surgery inChina-Japan Union Hospital of Jilin University from January toDecember in2012. Including68patients, age:12-82years old, male:36,female:32, postoperative pathology:4cases of acute simple appendicitis,35cases of acute suppurative appendicitis,5cases of gangrene andperforated appendicitis,20cases of acute episode of chronic appendicitis,4cases of chronic appendicitis. This group consists of68cases ofpatients,2patients with serious abdominal adhesion were changed to thetraditional operation, there are66cases taking laparoscopic appendectomy(LA) actually.Take the laparoscopic appendectomy (LA) in the generalanesthesia, observe the postoperative recovery and complications relatedto operation, summarized the operation skills in laparoscopicappendectomy (LA).Results:66cases were successfully treated by laparoscopicappendectomy (LA),2cases were conversed to laparotomy (rate:2.9%),Operation time was:30-52minutes,the average operation time was:52minutes,10patients took the abdominal drainage tubes, which wereremoved in24h after operation, the patients can ambulation, eating in thefirst day, the average hospitalization time was5.5days, without any postoperative complications (wound) infection and abdominal abscessand deaths.Conclusions:1.Laparoscope appendectomy (LA) can maximize the exploration ofintra-abdominal organs, to avoid the false positive of the appendixexcision, facilitate the differential diagnosis.2.Laparoscope appendectomy (LA) can avoid to the hole (incision)infection and abdominal residual abscess.3.Laparoscope appendectomy (LA) has a slighter trauma, rapiderpostoperative recovery, less complications,it is a safe, minimally invasivetechnique, that is worthy of clinical application.
