Abstract


OBJECTIVES Investigation and analysis of a tertiary level in Anhui ProvinceChinese Medicine Hospital2009-2012Clinical application of essential drugs，thespecific requirements of the control system of essential drugs for major public hospital，understanding of the implementation of the national essential drug system，hospital thedegree of implementation of the national essential drugs system and drug use types、thetrend of the amount, explore Chinese Medicine Hospital of drug use, To advance inpublic large hospitals, especially the large Chinese Medicine Hospital of the essentialdrugs system to provide reference and basis for decision making.METHODS Anhui Province three A-level Chinese Medicine Hospital2009-2012clinical application as a research object, the retrieval analysis capabilities hospital HISsystem and ORACLE database system,create data reports, control of the country andAnhui Essential Drugs List, Use of Excel’s statistical function, combination chartcomparative analysis of hospital essential types of drug use、using the trend of changesin the amount, differences in the use of essential drugs rank sum test method for useSPSS19.0statistical software to compare different health insurance category of patientsas well as between the different clinical departments, understand the overall conditionof the hospital drug use..RESULTS Since the implementation ofthe essentialdrug system,2009-2012eitherthe type or quantity of essential drugs in our hospital are stable, western medicinecontinuously maintained at more than90%of the essential types of drugs, westernmedicine essential amount of drug use ratio remains more than10%, Chinese patent medicines use ratio remained at5%, meet the policy requirements, consistent andpharmaceutical revenue growth rate and the growth rate of the amount of hospitalservices；According to the rank-sum test, essential drugs use there is no differencebetween the different categories of patients, essential drugs use have a statisticallysignificant difference between the different clinical departments, proportion ofoutpatient and inpatient herbal medicine use is growing year by year.CONCLUSIONS (1)The hospital essential types of drug use and the use of amountsessential achieve system requirements；(2) Essential clinical drug use did notdiscriminate between patients with different types；(3) All clinical departments due tothe different treatment of disease categories differ in the selection of essential drugsuse；(4) The effectiveness of the hospital a series of measures to promote the use ofChinese medicine, Chinese herbal medicine and hospital of traditional Chinesemedicine preparations to use the proportion is growing year by year, embodies thehospital TCM connotation construction constantly deepe, as well as the growingdemand of the masses of Chinese medicine.
