Abstract


As people pay more attention to security issues, video monitoring system has a wide range of applications in many areas, but there are still some defects when it uses in mobile terminal, this thesis designs a kind of mobile video monitoring system based on SIP, it has strong flexibility and mobility by using the wireless network.Starting with the works after reviewing the recent situations at home and abroad about the video monitoring system, this thesis analyses the features of H.264 technology and its key technologies, introduces the streaming media technology and its transfer protocol, studys smart phones in Symbian OS and its system structure. It lays a theoretical foundation for the development of video monitoring system.Then, this essay projects an overall frame structure for the mobile video monitoring system based on SIP. Adopting SIP new as a communication protocol news carrier and XML protocol as news body description language.After that, according to system of equipment, we design and implement equipment application layer of software part, include media module which is used to send video data, PTZ module which is used to control PTZ, video module which is used to query list and upload video, alarm module which is used to inform alarm information.Finally, we design phone client software on Symbian OS platform, it provides a way to realize human-computer interaction, and the client software can watch remote video and control equipment.
