Abstract


This paper is on the basis of Chinese co-teaching pattern in Busan TourismHigh School, through questionnaires, interviews and the analyzation about learners’individual factors in the school, thus aims to find out learners’ situation of Chineselearning in a native language environment, meanwhile analyzing related theory oflearners’ individual factors to carry out Chinese teaching in a better way. This paperis divided into three chapters with the questionnaires and the records of teachers’interview in the appendix.In chapter I, there is an introduction of the paper’s background and writingpurpose. In addition, current situation of Chinese teaching and development trend ofChinese co-teaching pattern in South Korea are also presented in this chapter. Thereis a long history of Chinese teaching in South Korea, with the popularity of Chinese,how to do the promotion of Chinese teaching in the new era is a difficult task for thepeople who are dedicated to Chinese teaching.In chapter II, the writer tries to find out the learners’ individual differencesthrough the questionnaires to students and records of teachers’ interview. Practicalproblems and causes of the problems during the period of learning Chinese arestudied from physical, cognitive, emotional and other aspects. In the survey, thewriter gets to know that cognitive and emotional factors are key factors which affectChinese learning. This chapter will focus on the roles of the two factors duringlanguage learning. Internal causes become operative through external causes. Basedon the actual teaching experience, the writer analyzes the influence of languageenvironment for Korean learners and the use of Chinese in the Korean nativelanguage environment.In chapter III, with further promotion of Chinese co-teaching pattern betweenChina and South Korea, the writer points out positive significance of studyinglearners’ individual factors to the pattern and deficiencies of this paper.
