Starting from school songs in the early 20 century, Anti-Japan songs in the 1930s and 1940s, learning the lessons from the Soviet Union in 1950s to Multi-musical culture introduced into China since reform and opening to the outside world in the 1980s, there are four-time large scale Eastward spread of western music tides in Chinese music history in the 20 century. Only Sino- Soviet Union musical exchange is of unique characteristics with its high political, system and mass character.During this period, China learned from Soviet Union at music education, musical creation, musical entertainment and music theory. Soviet musical culture model was sort of "transplant" approached to China and widely accepted. Considering that starting point of its introduction and acceptance is intimately connected with regime and ideology, this thesis, based on sociological theory, is designed to explain the social motivation and historic significance of Sino-Soviet Union musical exchange by reviewing typical instances in the view of sociology.ChapterⅠThis is the introduction which introduces the topic foundation of this thesis, learning value, current research status of home and abroad, research approach, research idea and etc.ChapterⅡA synthesis of a wide range of contents of the Sino- Soviet Union musical exchange, assuming the relevant history of enumerated type things, clear the importance of music exchange of the Sino-Soviet Union’s to musical cultural construction in the new China.ChapterⅢTo further illustrate the profound impact from Soviet Union on China music culture construction during this period, selected the most representative of the Soviet music expert in China as a typical case from many contents of Sino-Soviet Union musical exchange, by combing a large number of archival documents, systematically presented 31 Soviet music experts in China’s history of music tracks between 1954-1960.ChapterⅣUnder the theory framework of sociology situation definition, social interaction, qualitative analysis on working process and impact of the Soviet music experts worked in China, depth analysis of interaction between experts with experts students and society, depth analysis of profound impact from Soviet Union experts on China music.Chapter V With typical examples, an explanation of Social Motivations of Sino-Soviet Union music exchange by use of social movement theory analysis model.Conclusion A conclusion on historical orientation and society enlightenment of Sino-Soviet Union musical exchange in the 1950s.Since the 1950s and 1960s of last century, Soviet Union and China become hostile to the embarrassment of the political and the "Cultural Revolution" gives the psychological confusion and apprehension. This made the research into the history of this music Contemporary Music History of the "forbidden zone" Over the years, research from scholars to this historical period music matters is most limited to the overall trend of the general Generalization. Comprehensive and detailed interpretation of the Soviet Union’s expert on the importance of music and culture, this thesis is an important breakthrough in the academic, after all, Time has given us a more diverse cultural demands and more relaxed political landscape.Based on Sociological theory, from the perspective of sociology to explore the Soviet music experts activities track in China during this period, we clearly see that:in order to survive in the modern world, developing countries must be shorter than in developed countries more time to complete the state construction. Only the State’s power can transform many Traditional structures which is disadvantaged on social development. In a sense, the fifties of last century, including the Soviet Union’s experts to exchange music, it is of social behavior Under state-led. Serious analysis of Soviet society in the process of musical exchange mechanism, sum up the social cause of Sino-Soviet Union musical exchange, for planning the future development of Chinese music and creating a new situation in the exchange of Chinese and Western music has some instructive value and practical significance.
