Senile intertrochanteric fractures with minimally invasive treatment of traditional Chinese medicine

Abstract


Objective: To compare minimally invasive surgery with traditional Chinese medicine and traditional surgical treatment of senile two methods intertrochanteric fracture to assess senile intertrochanteric fracture efficacy of minimally invasive treatment with traditional Chinese medicine . Methods: randomly selected Guangdong Shenzhen Second People's Hospital and the Hospital of Xiangfan City, Hubei Province, a total of 60 cases from 2007 to 2010 clinical data , including minimally invasive group : In the small incision closed reduction of fracture prerequisite to the use of pressed steel Piga (PCCP) and anti- rotation intramedullary nail (PFNA) with traditional Chinese medicine treatment of senile intertrochanteric fracture 30 cases ; conventional group: completely cut open reduction of fractures under the premise of using the dynamic hip screw (DHS) treatment of senile intertrochanteric 30 cases of fracture . The two groups were compared operative time , blood loss , postoperative pain , functional recovery , complications and mortality . Results : The operation time : minimally invasive group averaged 65 ± 0.5 minutes, the traditional group averaged 110 ± 0.8分钟; bleeding : minimally invasive group averaged 78 ± 0.6 ML; traditional group averaged 280 ± 0.2 ML; postoperative pain : minimally invasive group and the traditional group had postoperative pain, but after minimally invasive group oral analgesics tolerable , traditional postoperative pain is severe , there are 18 cases of patients with oral and intramuscular analgesic drugs still can not stand it. By up 3 to 18 months, 29 patients minimally invasive group hip fracture healing and functional recovery of satisfaction during hospitalization and 1 died of pulmonary embolism ; traditional group 28 cases of hip fracture healing and functional recovery of satisfaction , a nonunion cases of myocardial infarction during hospitalization and 1 died. Conclusion: Minimally invasive with traditional Chinese medicine treatment of senile intertrochanteric fracture efficiency will definitely , and can shorten the operation time , reduce bleeding and post-operative pain .
