Abstract


Objective To discuss the clinical value of right ventricular function of cor pulmonale patient general assessed by TDI and dp/dt.Method Subjects are classified cor pulmonale patient groups(90cases) and normal comparison groups(30cases)simply having tricuspid regurgitation.Giving routine echocardiographic examination,applying color flow continue doppler wave measures tricuspid regurgitation,estimating pulmonary arterial pressure and right ventricular dp/dt.Then applying Tissue Dopplor Image (TDI) technique measures peak value flow veloeity of early diastolic period (peakE),peak value flow velocity of late diastolic period (peakA) and ratio of peakE to peakA(E/A),at the same time,measures peak value flow veloeity of systolic period (peakS).Results Dp/dt、Em、Em /Am and Sm of cor pulmonale patient groups are lower than those of normal comparison groups, Am of cor pulmonale patient groups are higher than those of normal comparison groups, the difference has significant statistic meaning,showing the systole and diastole function of right ventricle of cor pulmonale patient are all decrease,and negative correlation between pulmonary arterial pressure and dp/dt.Conclusions It is accurate, convenient and repeatable for TDI and dp/dt as a new non-invasive diagnostic technique to assess right ventricular function of cor pulmonale patient and pvovide meaning clinical information for cor pulmonale patient, in clinical treatment and state of an illness’s estimate and prognosis judgement.
