The aim of the present study was aimed at understanding the perception of the status quo of Tai'an City hospital nurse work environment, job satisfaction and turnover intention level, analysis of different personal characteristics of nurses perception of the current situation, the work environment, the differences in the level of job satisfaction and turnover intention, and nurses work environment and job satisfaction, intention to quit, and to explore the factors causing job dissatisfaction and intention to quit in the work environment of nurses, take effective interventions to provide a theoretical basis for nursing management. Methods This study was a descriptive study, the use of multi-stage sampling method during the period from May 2010 to September Taian four general hospital conducted a questionnaire survey in 577 clinical nurses. The questionnaire includes: general information questionnaire, nurses Work Environment Scale (PPE), Salomon Kalou Trask / Miller Nurses' Job Satisfaction Scale (MMSS), intention to quit scale. SPSS13.0 statistical software descriptive analysis of the data collected by the two-sample t-test, one-way ANOVA analysis, LSD test, Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear stepwise regression analysis. Results. Tai'an City general hospital nurses' work environment total divided into 2.56 ± 0.35, the scores in descending order: nurse relationship, internal work motivation, patient information exchange, conflict handling, leadership and autonomy, teamwork , cultural sensitivity, control practices; the different hospital level, marital status, tenure, department, age, retaining age, titles nurses work environment as a whole and the part of the dimension of the score there is a significant difference (P lt; 0.05), different educated nurse work environment part of the dimension score was a significant difference (P lt; 0.05). Taian general hospital nurse job satisfaction total is divided into 2.82 ± 0.40. Benefits, career development opportunities, family and work balance which nurses feel most dissatisfied; the different hospital level, tenure, department, age, retaining age, titles nurses work satisfaction levels were significant differences (P lt; 0.05) ; different marital status, academic level of job satisfaction of nurses no difference (P gt; 0.05). The 3. Tai'an City hospital nurses leaving willingness total divided into 2.74 ± 0.59, the indicator is 68.50%. The three scores are in descending order: Ⅲ (2.85 ± 0.63), Ⅰ (2.71 ± 0.80), Ⅱ (2.68 ± 0.70); different way of serving department, age, retaining age, job title, qualifications nurses intention to quit significant difference (P lt; 0.05); different hospital level, marital status nurse turnover intention was no difference (P gt; 0.05). Eight dimensions of the work environment of nurses with job satisfaction showed a significant positive correlation (P lt; 0.01), health care relations, internal work motivation, leadership and autonomy, cultural sensitivity, and control of the practice of the five variables jointly explain nurses 34.9% of the total variance of job satisfaction; eight dimensions of the work environment of nurses with the intention to quit showed a significant negative correlation (P lt; 0.01), health care relationship, patient information exchange, conflict handling, leadership and autonomy of practice five variables jointly explain the nurses leaving willingness to 21.2% of the total variance. Conclusion 1. Of Taian nurses on the perception of the status quo of the working environment at the middle level, the lower level of job satisfaction, higher levels of intention to quit; nurses work better the state of the environment, the higher job satisfaction; nurses work better the state of the environment, leaving willingness to lower; nurse job satisfaction and turnover intention intervention can start to improve the work environment for nurses to take to strengthen communication skills training to improve interpersonal communication skills; emphasis on nurses continuing education to further broaden their knowledge; promotion of content-rich, inspire internal work motivation of nurses; measures to improve the leadership skills of managers, given the autonomy of nurses' work; rational allocation of nursing human resources, enhance the sense of control nurse practice. Revelation of nursing practice: In this study, to further explore the factors that influence nurse job satisfaction and intention to quit the nurse work environment in the context of our cultural basis, provide reference for further study of the working environment for our nurses and system optimization.
