Abstract

It is understandable that literary translation will be influence by linguistics literature and Art and rhetoric. But people always ignore the influence of aesthetic to it. Aesthetics studies theories about beauty, it is not only the organic part of philosophy but also the philosophy of Art. It focus on art value, attributes and relative interpretation Theory. Literary Works decide that aesthetics is an important way of evaluating literary Works and translation value based its aesthetic qualities.This paper focus on the translation between Chinese to English of poem, prose and relative aesthetic issues. At the same time, it analyses literary translation’ principles and standards and provided four factors influenced it from the aesthetics’perspective. Specifically, the article discusses as follows:The first part is introduction, It is the overview research of the whole. It discusses aesthetic theory in China, necessity of literary translation and present situation of aesthetic issues. In short, it discusses this research’background, present situation, significant and value.The second part discusses the aesthetic issues about different literary styles especially poem and prose. It analyses poem’s art of sound, form and meaning pose’s aesthetic qualities, art of style, implications of aesthetics and translation of implications of aesthetics.The third part concerns the principles and standards of literary translation. Comparing the principles and standards of literary translation in east and west, it finds the aesthetic factors hiding in it. It also introduces popular principles and standards at home and provides author’s ideas about it.The fourth part is an analysis on aesthetic factors which influences principles and standards of literary translation. It mentions that aesthetic images, translator’aesthetic quality, reader’aesthetic quality and the orientation between Chinese and western culture will influence the formulating of the principles and standers.The last part is conclusion. It points out aesthetic issues related to literary translation not only are literary’issues but also aesthetic issues, and it also belongs to joint issues that should be faced among literature, aesthetics and translation studies. Literary translation goes far and well under the premise of making it clear.
