Abstract


Qing dynasty is a historical period, during which Taiwan’s Confucianism education developed. Varieties of schools and academies of classical learning came into being in a short time.With experiencing about two hundred years, Confucianism rooted in the Taiwan soil during dynasty,when the mainstream thought is zhu-zi thought called "Dongdaozhichuan".Through the confucianism education, the government gradually abated the ideas against the Qing government and for the Ming government, improved the peopele’s civilization, and eased the contradictions between the rulers of Man minority and the majority of the han people. All these promotied Taiwan social development of the Qing dynasty. After the opium war, The principal conflict of society was to fight aggression.Confucianism had become the main spirit tool for the Tainwan people to resist foreign invasiona. As a result, Confucianism was renewed and melded well with the zhu-zi thought, which brought far-reaching effects upon the modern history of Taiwan. According to the history material, this paper mainly discusses the effects of Confucianism education on the Taiwan society via by the numbers packing up the establishment, development management systems of all kinds of schools and academies of classical learning, specially focusing on the characteristics of Confucianism education during the Qing dynasty. This research paper aims to present its development and characteristic of the Taiwan confucianism education history in the Qing dynasty, and know the implication between confucianism education and social development, and understand the consistency of the Taiwan’s traditional culture and the cultural development of the mainland, and play some supplementary role for the further study of Taiwan’s education history of Qing dynasty and Taiwan’s cultural development history.
