Abstract


, according to world travel tourism conference in 2015, China will become the world's largest tourist destination country. In 2009 China tourism as a key pillar industry, however, China's tourism administration not to introduce tourist attractions to formulate detailed standards. This article from the perspective of functionalism to the tourist text translation are discussed in this paper, in order to solve the problem of the present stage in the practice of tourism translation. Functionalist skopos theory is complied with the development of the society, meets the need of translation practice. At first, it argues that translation is a purposeful activity, and under the theoretical guidance of translation strategy is flexible, can achieve communicative effect become the new measure of translation. Translation of tourist attractions introduction is designed to provide information for foreign tourists, attract the potential tourists coming to China to travel, to promote the development of China's tourism industry. Based on this purpose, the author believes that the translator in the translation process should be considered in the tourist attractions introduction of audiences, and guided by the corresponding translation requirements, adopt flexible translation strategies and translation in order to achieve the best effect.
