This thesis deeply research on the fictive kinship by the means of literatureresearch method, participant observation, interviews.Through the research on J village, master the basic situation of the fictive kinship, thendiscuss the formation structure of the fictive kinship relationship from the perspective of the“five edge”, and summed up the social and culture function of the fictive kinship relationship.The rural fictive kinship have some characteristics, such as the number is not limited, Ritual,utilitarian tend. People establishing the fictive kinship relationship by the ceremony, in thisway, people announce the establishment of the fictive kinship relationship, tell the ancestorsand gods that our family will add a new member, pray them to protect him; besides, peoplestrengthen feelings by the ceremony, and make the fictive kinship more formal. Any folkculture is in the change, the fictive kinship relationship as a folk culture also is in the change.The changes of the fictive kinship relationship not only reflect the secular and utilitarian tends,but also show the change of the motivation and function. In order to strengthen theunderstanding of the fictive kinship relationship network structure in the countryside, thisthesis analyzes the internal network structure of the fictive kinship relationship by the meansof “five geo-cultural”, confer the relationship between the fictive kinship network structureand the villagers’ living space.On the basis of analyzing the general situation and structure of the fictive kinship, thisthesis summed up the impact on the socio-cultural from the positive and negative aspects. Thefictive kinship as a folk phenomenon, show the general functions of the folk, meanwhile, hasits own unique impact significance. The main positive function of the fictive kinshiprelationship is to broaden the communication space, meet the psychological needs tendingfunction, entertainment and cultural function, educational function, cohesion function and soon. The negative function is mainly contributed to the rural unhealthy practices, breedcriminal behavior, and make the spread of feudal superstition.
