Abstract


Educational equity is the basis of social justice and that also is the manifestation ofsocial equity and justice in the field of education.Solving the problem of educationalequity is in order to be better to promote the development of social fairness andjustice.Therefore, there is a necessary link between the social fairness and justice.Socialequity issues are more and more cause for concern in the context of reform and openingup and the realistic background of market economy,the educational equity is also boundto become a hot issue in society widely attention.Firstly,analysis and discussion of the functions of education are that the educationin human development and social development of the function.These are the twofunctions, which describe and analyse the functions of education and focuses on therelationship of educational equity and comprehensive human development. In thesocial development of education, that emphasizes the technology and knowledgeheritage of the education, mainly for education and science and technology andeducation to promote the reproduction of knowledge of science and technologyprogress. In the development of human, that emphasizes the education of humanisticeducation functions, improving the personal creativity, improving personal ability ofsocial practice and cultivation of inner quality of the individual. That relies on thesubject of education fair, to discuss the human development, human freedompersonality and education and the all-round development, also emphasizes the overalldevelopment of all people, not personal development.Secondly, the theoretical analysis and the research to the social justice, which fromthe three angles of the theory of fairness and justice of Rawls, the equity theory ofMarx’s and the equity theory of Communist Party of China. In reality there is the lack ofsocial fairness and justice. This article is for the examples and analysis of theinequality of education and training opportunities, unequal distribution of employmentopportunities, and the three aspects of performance of the job transition inequality ofopportunity, the unequal distribution of income and the unequal distribution of wealth. From the social system, the concept of law, the rule of law and political science point ofview to analyze and interpret the connotation of social fairness and justice, the presenceof the root causes of social inequality that is the conclusion of the private ownership.Which Emphatically illustrates the social inequalities reasonable boundaries standards,the conclusion that the standard of their visit is truth, goodness and beauty, the startingpoint and the result is not conducive to the development of the productive forces and theinterests of society’s overall development.Finally, this article from the concept level, the target level, system level and theeducation process the micro level of education equity meaning analysis andinterpretation, and proposes the basic requirements of educational equity. From theregional education opportunity inequality, and inequality between men and womenaccess to education, neglect the education development of different personality andordinary schools and key schools, which is not equal four aspects to analyze thephenomena of unequal educational opportunities in china. Analyzing the system factorsto affect Chinese education opportunity inequality, mainly reflected in three aspects,which are the system factor of educational resources allocation, existing differencesand enrollment system city and countryside education fees. According to the Chinesecurrent inequality exists in educational opportunities, the solving method and pathchoice of educational equity, namely, increase investment in education, increasinggovernment investment, increase input in the non-compulsory education phase.Without that the rational allocation of educational resources, that need balance theschool and regional funding, teachers and education investment allocation. In addition,attention to vulnerable groups of students, improve the education funding assistancemechanism, and all students should get equal opportunity and equal educationalopportunities.
