Abstract


The study of Bao Sgrungs’ phenomenon is showing a trend from early period’s literary research as its representative toward contemporary psychology research. Based on the existing explanations of Bao Sgrungs’ phenomenon and regular features of Bao Sgrungs obtaining the singing ability, the theory of acquisition-priming-operation is raised, that the singing phenomenon is a psychological phenomenon, and the singing ability is acquired and converted into operation by way of priming. This acquisition includes explicit learning and implicit learning. The explicit learning is for the epic’s content and implicit learning for epic’s structure and syntax rules. The priming here refers to implicit priming and emotional priming. The operation is displayed as the singing ability of the epic.
