Abstract

This study is on the perspective of service design to research the university campuspublic service design. The main content of the study is innovative campus public servicedesign, rather than the traditional public service design. This article selects a subsystem of thecampus public service design system (campus public bicycle system) as the main object ofstudy. The article is divided into six parts:The first part is an introduction. It brief describe the problem and research background,review and combing the literature, then put forward the research ideas, the research methods andthe significance of this study.The second part is to sort out and explore the campus public service design concept. Itcombined service design and public service in theory, defined the scope of the campus publicservice design, and category depending on the reference standard. At last, it summed up fourcharacteristics of the campus public services design.The third part is to study the current situation of the domestic and international publicbike rental system, and analysis for typical case of domestic and foreign. At first it analyzesthe typical case of urban public bicycle system, and summed up the successful experience andthe reason for the failure. Secondly, to the analysis of the campus public bicycle system, I willdivide the domestic colleges and universities campus public bicycle system into two modes:The first mode is as a subsystem relying on urban public bicycle system. And the secondmodel is school’s own stand-alone system. For the example of the first mode which is thefailure case–Tsinghua University bicycle system, analyze and summarize the existingproblems and shortcoming in the first model of the campus public bicycle system.The fourth part is in the example of Zhang Zhou Campus of Xiamen University’s publicbike system as an example ("green"), I starting analyze the five key aspects of the publicbicycle system through field research, then find and summarize the reasons for the success ofthe "green" system and four groups of contradictions. At last I think about the potential toimprove the design point for the four different contradiction groups.The fifth part is to summary of the design elements of the campus public bicycle system,On the basis of case studies, I summarized the demand factors of the campus public bicyclesystem, factors of production and factors of design methodology.The sixth part is to enhance the design of the case. With the fifth park of the methods forcontext building design, I analysis scenario building elements of the Zhang Zhou Campuspublic bicycle system, summarizes the details of the scenario building, and put forward anexperimental design—All That Bicycle.
