China carries out state, local and school these three level course management for basic education reform. This new change will make development of school-based curriculum and it places curriculum as the early education reform, even it will be the hot issue in the21st century in China. Our country has a large population with many nationalities, and it vasts in territory. Because of the local economic and cultural differences, entirely with one size design and requirement can’t meet the needs of the schools in each area, especially in national regions. The new curriculum reform of the local course and the development of school-based curriculum rich school curriculum resources in national minority areas. It also provides guarantee for inheriting the national excellent culture. In the face of such a historical opportunity, It is contemporary issues that how to give full play to initiative and creativity of the school education reflect the characteristics of a school.This paper analyzes present situation of development and existing problems in Korean cultural resources in Yanbian Korean Autonomous prefecture middle and primary school, and it also proposes feasible advice and reference for the primary and middle school in national area. The whole thesis can be divided into4parts.The first part is the introduction of this thesis. It introduces about purpose, significance and contents of this research. The research methods and the literature review of current research of this project are also mentioned in this part.In the second part, It is defined the concept of development in national culture course and related concept is also defined in this part. It expounds he significance of developing national culture course in the minority areas and necessity of development of national cultural curriculum in the middle and primary school.The third part is the analysis of present situation and existing problems of curriculum development in Korean middle and primary school in Yanbian area. Based on the actual research of middle and primary school, the paper analyzes the present situation and the existing problems of National culture course development in the Korean primary and middle schools in Yanbian area.The fourth part makes several suggestions for curriculum development of national culture in Korean middle and primary school in the light of curriculum resource development problems.
