Abstract


In accelerating the pace of urbanization in the context of the city's growing number of floating population , increasingly younger age structure , the new generation of migrant workers gradually become the mainstream mobile population groups. Their living conditions , social support and social integration are sectors of the community concern. This article focuses on the context of current social policy regimes , the new generation of migrant workers living situation and social support status ? Study used quantitative research-based approach to the questionnaire and unstructured interviews to understand the generation of migrant workers living situation overview , and then explore in depth the social support and survival status of the new generation of migrant workers between . Through a sample survey and found that the new generation of migrant workers and their social support showed a correlation between survival status , they receive social support for all aspects of the new generation of migrant workers has to a certain extent , which is mainly reflected in the new generation of migrant workers happiness, life satisfaction and other aspects. Meanwhile, interviews found that the new generation of migrant workers eager to integrate into the city, with the obvious intention to develop independently . At this stage, the new generation of migrant workers living situation is not optimistic, social support is still at a low level. Through policy formulation, improve the social security system related to migrant workers , advocacy and fostering the development of social work services and non-profit organizations to improve the living situation of the new generation of migrant workers , but also can relieve the pressure of social management , which for building a harmonious society has a very profound practical significance.
