Abstract


Lenin was a great Marxist who had actively practiced and promoted Marxism. Lenin had not only made an outstanding contribution to the enrichment and development of the Marxist theoretical system, but also proposed a series of important ideas and views on issues such as what is Marxism, how to treat Marxism, how to practice Marxism and so on, forming a rich, deep and unique perspective view on Marxism which is Leninism. In the specific process of leading the socialist revolution and construction in Russia, Lenin brought Marxist doctrine of socialism from science into reality and built the first socialist state of the world, proving correctness of Lenin’s view on Marxism. Academic researches of Lenin’s view on Marxism also started early, and have made some valuable and influential achievements. Based on existing researches of Lenin’s view on Marxism, this thesis makes a further study on the theoretical system, the scientific attitude and the significance of Lenin’s view on Marxism.Firstly, we begin our study with the research background and development of Lenin’s view on Marxism at home and abroad, including the formation and development of Marxism Leninism. The study also shows the significance of Lenin’s view on Marxism.Secondly, we have reviewed the theoretical system of Lenin’s view on Marxism from Lenin’s propositions which understand Marxism correctly and evaluate Marxism deeply. Marxists always face the issues such as what is Marxism, how to treat Marxism, how to practice Marxism and so on. Lenin expounded what is Marxism profoundly from the points of view on occurrence theory, feature theory, development theory and value theory. At the same time, Lenin evaluated Marxism of philosophy, political economy and scientific socialism ideological thinking.Thirdly, we analyse Lenin’s defending and developing the theory of Marxism, including against revisionism, "legal Marxism" and the economic pie. In the specific process of leading the socialist revolution and construction in Russia, Lenin had formed the basic perspective of Marxism, and had advanced Marxist philosophy into a new phase.In the fourth chapter, we describe Lenin’s scientific attitude towards Marxism, and focus on innovation and development of Marxism in practice. Lenin, a great Marxist, following Marx and Engels after, he accurately understood Marxism with the principle of seeking truth from facts. Lenin had innovated and developed Marxism by combining Marxism with the realities of the Russian successfully. He had also brought the Marxist theory into a new stage by the right attitude and the scientific method in using of Marxism. Lastly, we have analyzed the time value of Lenin’s view on Marxism and the inspiration and reference to our China’s socialist construction and development. Combining Lenin’s view on Marxism with our China’s practice is good for our building socialism and construction of a harmonious socialist society. It is of great theoretical and practical value for our socialist construction.
