Abstract


With the prosperous development of the non-profit organization, it has been playing much more critical role in the society, which raises its expatiated social values. The non-profit organization fixes the gap between social needs and government’s supply. Non-profit organization is facing great challenges both from environment and organizations themselves along with its significant development.The research begins with the discussion of concepts, including the concept of NPO, performance evaluation and NPO’s performance evaluation. A great amount of papers on NPOs’researching history and contemporary issues of performance evaluation are analyzed both domestically and abroad. Then, the paper analyzes obstacles and necessity in the application of NPO’s performance evaluation, focuses on the importance of the NPO’s performance evaluation. In the last part, a model on NGOs performance management was proposed.The innovation point of this research is that the author proposed a six dimensional model for the domestic Non-profit organizations’performance promotion based on the combination of theories and practices. The model comprises of establishing strategic alliance to fulfill the resource control ability, building common vision to raise the organizational cohesion, handling marketing conception to meet the demands of the target consumers, and perfecting the internal and external surveillance mechanism to ensure the well being of the organizational development.
