Abstract


In recent years, HD IPTV, VOD,3D video、video conference, and other video applications develop rapidly。Various broadband services especially video business makes a extremely high request for bandwidth of user access. Telecom operators need to increase access user bandwidth and make efforts to network transformation for providing new services. Instead, cable-carrying media, to PON technology for FTTX optical fiber access network comes into being. Compared with the traditional DSL technology, PON network has a point to multipoint topology,increase of terminals, business complexity promotion, and many other features. All the features make the telecom operators for deployment maintenance process of fixed access network and OSS systems face a huge challenge.This article first describes PON which is the mainstream technology of broadband access technologies of current China Mobile fixed broadband access network, clears need for replacing construction with PON, and why using GPON technology. On this basis, focusing on analysis of the impact brought by GPON technology to China Mobile deployment processes and maintenance support system. According to business development requirements of China Mobile offered a low-cost, high efficiency of PON solution for network deployment and operation support system. The huge cost of construction and telecom level business protection as well as users access of High bandwidth bring huge pressure of bandwidth to metropolitan area network and backbone network of data core. How to solve these problems is the key of constructing network. Based on the research of passive optical network technology and the combination of theory and practice, we can establish a feasible low construction and operation cost for the high rate of return on investment. At the same time, it is a passive optical network of many advantages, such as high bandwidth, full service and easy maintenance.This system is being implemented in steps in Liaoning Mobile, achieves good results, and supports the rapid development of Liaoning Mobile fixed broadband service.
