Abstract


Instant messaging (IM) is a real-time interactive Internet applications. Its mainfunctionality is to transmit information between users in real time. IM is broadly used toachieve real-time transmission of audio, video, and text information, as well aspoint-to-point data exchange. It’s currently the most popular Internet communicationmethods. IM is changing our life dramatically, especially for communication,collaboration and entertainment. You can interact with anyone, at anytime and anywherein the world, through text, voice and even video.A wide variety of instant messaging software currently on the market, but alsohave their own characteristics. Software designed for the commercial field, and is notsuitable for industrial or field of disaster relief.The subject stems from a Ministry of Civil Affairs of a unit under the DisasterMitigation and Relief thematic focus in recent years of various natural disasters frequentresearch units of the organizations communication difficulties encountered in theprocess of post-disaster rescue. Car base station and auxiliary emergencycommunications vehicles, instant communication technology applications to the sceneof the disaster mitigation and relief. Meet the distribution of food, medicine, anddeployment of rescue personnel, relief supplies protection, disaster personnel placementprocess communication between the various rescue teams.The title based on the Android platform, follow the the XMPP protocol standards,the part of the client software in the instant messaging system. The final outcome of thesubject software can not only run on the Android platform, and can also run on otheroperating system platforms, and different manufacturers compatible rescue equipmentbased on different operating system platforms.After a test run, the results show that the complete user login and register system,user exits, send and receive instant messages, share files, chats, instant messaging,access to a good user experience.
